Daniel Craig says his new tattoos are "part of a stage" he is in.
After spending years in the limelight the 43-year-old actor is keen to keep certain aspects of his life private.
Along with details about his recent marriage to actress Rachel Weisz, the hunk is content to keep the meaning behind his body art a secret too.
There a words inked on his right bicep and a mystery symbol on his left arm.
"There are mine. They are two very personal tattoos. Yes, they are new. They're just part of a stage I'm in.
"You should see the rest of my body. Then you'd be intrigued. Oh boy. It's been a very complicated couple of years," he laughed to the January edition of GQ.
The actor is famous across the world for playing suave spy James Bond.
He is currently filming the new Bond film, Skyfall, and can soon be seen in the thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Although Daniel dreamed of becoming a movie star he never believed he actually would make it.
"I didn't get into this business to become famous. Genuinely," he explained. "You know what, at the back of my head, there was probably always an idea, God, I'd love to be a movie star.' But honestly, I came from Liverpool. I thought would be fat chance of that happening. I just wanted to be an actor and do my thing and this has happened."
