(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Daniel Craig believes people think they "own him".
The 43-year-old star recently married actress Rachel Weisz in a secret ceremony after just a few months of dating, and says people feel they have a right to know what's going on in his life.
In a new interview with Esquire magazine, Daniel admits he has become accustomed to his international fame since landing the iconic James Bond role, despite being a relatively unknown actor for many years before.
"This has become my way, it's a simple as that. I mean, since I've just become James Bond. And I think that means being something people feel they own," the British actor said.
"All of a sudden I'm getting magazine covers, when I got nothing for ten years before that. I say it's just pure luck. And doing covers, people interviewing me, and they want to know everything and I'm going, I'm not gonna f**king tell you!"
Daniel also stars in the upcoming movie adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and admits audiences will be shocked by the content. Directed by David Fincher, the thriller is scheduled for release later this year.
"It's as adult as you can possibly make it. This is adult drama. I grew up, as we f**king all did, watching The Godfather and that, movies that were made for adults," he explained.
"And this is a $100 million R-rated movie. Nobody makes those anymore. And [director David Fincher], he's not holding back. They've given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, Are you f**king serious?'" (C) Cover Media
