(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Demi Lovato is absolutely single, she has declared.

The 18-year-old singer has been rumoured to be dating some interesting partners in recent weeks, including 36-year-old actor Ryan Phillippe and Glee star Darren Criss. Demi denounces these claims as sheer hearsay. She had her initial opportunity to classify these assertions as spurious at HTC Status Phone Launch Party this week, her first visit to the red carpet since her rehabilitation earlier this year.

"No [the reports are false]. It's all random stuff," said Demi to reporters at the event.

Demi spent two months in rehab recovering from an eating disorder this year. She is now completely focussed on her flourishing singing career and is not willing to give up her independence. Addressing fans and the public directly on Twitter today, Demi made her intentions crystal clear.

"Ladies and gentlement, and also BLOG SITES I. AM. SINGLE," tweeted Demi. "I'm not dating anyone. I'm loving my independence right now (sic)."
