(Cover) - EN Star Style - Elle Macpherson has advised women to wear a different type of foundation according to the time of day.

The 47-year-old beauty has had a hugely successful modelling career, and is regularly cited as one of the worlds most beautiful women.

As well as being incredibly toned and slender for her age, Elle also has a radiant complexion, which makes her look far younger than she really is.

Elle insists the secret to her glowing appearance is choosing make-up wisely, and she always adjusts the type she wears according to different situations, applying thicker lotions for the evening and opting for a dewy affect in the daytime.

I believe every woman should wear different types of foundation according to her day. The type I use can completely change if its the day, evening or if Im doing business, she revealed.

Other than investing in numerous foundations, Elle says her beauty regime is relatively low-maintenance. The gorgeous star says drinking plenty of water and protecting herself from the harmful rays of the sun have kept her looking fresh-faced.

I drink about three litres of water a day, and use good sun protection, she added. (C) Cover Media
