(Cover) - EN Fashion - Elle Macpherson wishes she hadn’t braided her hair for her school prom.

The Australian supermodel is often thought of as one of the most stylish women in the world, but it hasn’t always been that way. She has had her fair share of fashion mishaps, and still regrets the ensemble she put together for her high school leaving party.

“I was persuaded to wear a particular dress and have my hair braided a la Bo Derek in the movie 10,” she laughed. “I’m not quite sure either the dress or the braids worked... it wasn’t my most comfortable evening.”

Nowadays, Elle prefers to dress comfortably when she is not at a work event. She has sons Arpad, 12, and seven-year-old Aurelius with her ex-fiancé Arpad Busson, but neither of them think she dresses stylishly.

“My eldest son reckons I know nothing about fashion, so he’s probably say my entire wardrobe was shocking,” she told British magazine Closer. “Maybe some high-heeled shoes are the worst thing in there? I used to wear heels a lot, to show I wasn’t ashamed of being 6ft., but I can’t remember the last time I wore them so now they are quite old and are gathering dust.” (C) Cover Media
