Elle Macpherson says that she is "super organised" as a working single mother.
The Australian model has Flynn, 14, and Cy, nine, from her relationship with French financier Arpad Busson, and they call London their home for most of the year.
But she told Fox411 that she is a very strict parent which does not always go down well with her brood.
"One of Flynn's complaints is, Nobody else has to do this, I don't know why I have to,'" Elle shared.
"First of all I'm a single mother and I don't have a nanny so we have to be super organised. They have to clean up their bathrooms before they go to school, they have to straighten their room, they have to have their vitamins and a healthy breakfast. They pack their bags themselves. They have to be ready by the door by 7.30."
Elle added that she is also careful about how much time they spend on their gadgets.
"We have a no electronics during the week policy," she revealed. "No computer games, no television. I'm very strict about their manners, standing up when an adult enters the room, shake hands, look in the eye, please and thank yous, all of that."
And Elle, who had planned a career in law before becoming a model, says that she's not just a pretty face and is quite the mogul.
"Business has always been a big part of my modelling career," she said. "I started my intimated collection 20 years ago and became Elle Macpherson Inc in 1985, so the business aspect of modelling has always played heavily in my choices."
The Fashion Star host has successful lingerie and skin care lines and is said to be worth $60 million.
