(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sir Elton John says he adores the unique Lady Gaga.

The 63-year-old singer is close friends with the popular singer, performing with the star at last years Grammy Awards.

The pair have collaborated again on a new single titled Hello, Hello which will feature on the soundtrack of new animated film Gnomeo and Juliet.

Elton lauded Gaga for her contribution to the project confirming he was delighted that she put 100% into the song.

"We became friends, and I adore her. I told her about the song, and she said, 'I'd love to do it,' and she did it. We're just so thrilled she took time out of her incredibly busy schedule to do it," he told Access Hollywood.

The musical icon went on to credit Gaga for her ability to inject her own unique personality into proceedings. He confirmed that instead of just going through the motions, Gaga managed to bring new life to an established character.

"She had fun with it and changed it a little bit and brought her own personality to it, so she gave Juliet that personality to it," he added. (C) Cover Media
