Emma Stone has gushed about her Amazing Spider-Man co-star and boyfriend Andrew Garfield.

The pair are notoriously guarded about their relationship wanting to keep their love life to themselves.

But when asked about comments Andrew made about her saying working with Emma was "like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding onto the sides," the loved up actress couldn't help but respond.

"Ditto!" she laughed during an interview on The Today Show. "I can't quite put it as eloquently as he did, but that's incredibly kind of him to say."

"He is someone that I've learned so, so much from and just as an actor, he is so incredibly present and fluid and it was an honour to act with him.

And although The Help star is now one of the most sought after starlets in Hollywood, she revealed that she had her eye on another career before making it big.

"[I would] have loved to be a journalist," she shared adding her desire to have the top editor position.
