(Cover) - EN Star Style - Eva Mendes can't stand to look too over-done on the red carpet.

The stunning actress never puts a foot wrong in the style stakes, although she actually prefers to look a little underdone. She cannot stand it when stylists and make-up artists try to create a flawless look, as to her that's uninteresting.

"Oh god, perfection is so boring. I don't strive for perfection in anything I do. Even when I'm out there on the red carpet, I'm like, No, don't fuss over me'," she told Stylist.

The star is just as relaxed about her appearance away from her glamorous showbiz lifestyle. Eva recalled a moment when the paparazzi caught her looking far from groomed when she was on holiday, although she didn't mind at all.

"When I was on the Amalfi coast in Italy on vacation the year before last...I was off-season'. I call it off-season because when I'm on vacation there's no stopping me I really don't care how I look it's my time," she laughed. (C) Cover Media
