(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Frances Bean Cobain is planning to live at Marianne Faithfull’s home for a year.
The 18-year-old is the daughter of Courtney Love and her late husband Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain. She has a turbulent relationship with her mother, and last year took out a restraining order against her. She asked to be taken out of Courtney’s care, although the reason why remains unknown. Frances has since been looked after by her paternal grandmother and aunt.
It has now been revealed Frances has turned to Marianne for support during the difficult time. The 63-year-old is renowned for her wild ways during her heyday in the 1960s, and for her issues with substance abuse.
“Frances has a strong relationship with Marianne. She's her Bohemian grandmother,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
Frances will apparently be moving into an apartment Marianne owns in Paris, and will live there for most of next year. She wants to spend time working on her art, and thinks the French city will inspire her. The teenager’s artistic ability is well documented – she recently staged a gallery show in Hollywood.
Last week, Courtney begged Frances to return home to her, saying she hoped she had “snapped out” of the mood that had made her leave. (C) Cover Media
