Hollywood stars Anne, 28, and James, 32, have been chosen to co-host the 83rd annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood on February 27. Movie hunk Hugh is remembered as one of the ceremonys best-loved hosts, after he did an impressive job at the 2009 Oscars. The 42-year-old actor famously opened the awards with a musical number, with Anne joining him on stage for the performance. Hugh is a massive fan of Annes, and thinks she and James will put on a great show later this month.
"Anne helped me out when I hosted the Oscars, as you remember," he told Extra.
"I think she's phenomenally talented. And James is one of the most versatile guys around, so between the two of them, I think they are going to be surprising and do a great, great job!"
Hugh is currently preparing himself to reprise his X-Men character Wolverine for Darren Aronofskys action movie The Wolverine, set for release in 2012. Hugh needs to bulk up for the film, and admits hes finding consuming plenty of calories rather tedious.
"It's very boring, really, every two hours, I have to eat steak or chicken with broccoli. But hey, it's Wolverine, got to get there!" he laughed. (C) Cover Media
