Bollywood's newbie Huma Qureshi is making her debut with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's much awaited film 'Gangs of Wasseypur'.
Even before hogging headlines in tinsel town, Huma made waves in the International circuit when she, along with her team walked the red carpet for the screening of their film at the Cannes International Film Festival.
It's not every day that a newcomer gets such a platform. And all of this makes her feel blessed and lucky.
Huma recently exclaimed that she couldn't have asked for a better debut opportunity. "It is a dream debut for me. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my career in movies. I have always been a fan of Anurag Kashyap's work ever since I saw 'Black Friday'," said an excited Huma.
She revealed that she always had the urge to work with Anurag, but she never realized that she would be lucky to get the opportunity in her very first film. "When I came to Mumbai from Delhi in 2008, Anurag was right at the top of the list of directors that I wanted to work with. I never thought that it would happen in my first film," she said.
We wish this newbie good luck!
