Actor Riteish Deshmukh, who is all set to tie the knot with actress and long time girl-friend Genelia D'Souza on 3rd February , says Genelia will not quit movies after marriage.
The couple met on the sets of "Tujhe Meri Kasam" nine years ago and they will be getting married in a lavish marriage ceremony to be attended by almost all the top Bollywood celebrities and other dignitaries.
"I don't think there is any reason why Genelia would have to put her acting assignments on hold. It is entirely her call on how she wants to work in years to come. She is an experienced proffesional and independant minded. She can make her own decisions," Riteish told the media.
Refusing to divulge more details about their upcoming nuptials, the 33-year-old actor said that the couple always maintained a dignified silence on their relationship and link-ups with others.
"Both of us have been very private about our relationship. We are talking about marriage because it is happening within a week from now, otherwise you wouldn't have ever seen me discussing my personal matters.
"Even though we have decided to speak out now, we aren't very comfortable sharing the most minute detailswith everyone since our wedding is going to be a very private affair," the actor said.
Apart from the wedding, Riteish is also busy promoting his forthcoming film "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" with to-be wife Genelia that will hit theatres on 24th February 2012.
"I have been very busy. I am promoting my film "Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya" and also working on "Housefull 2". Then I am also playing in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). To top it up, there are wedding preparations going on as well," he said.
