(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Guillermo del Toro says he cant work at a desk, despite having seven at his house.

The 46-year-old director-and-screenwriter is behind some of Hollywoods greatest movies of all time, including the fantasy Pans Labyrinth and the Hellboy comic-book franchise.

Guillermo admits whenever hes writing he prefers to be somewhere less formal, as it helps get his creativity flowing.

I have seven or eight desks in my house, but I hate writing at a desk. I prefer to sit on a sofa, or at the kitchen table, he told Empire magazine.

The talented moviemaker also enjoys listening to music as he writes, and has revealed the various pieces which have inspired some of his best-loved films. Guillermo tends to favour classical, dramatic pieces to get him in the mood.

While writing Pans Labyrinth, I listened to a piece of music by Arvo Prt called Spiegel Im Spiegel. For Hellboy, the Dracula score, he added. (C) Cover Media
