It seems a long time ago, most likely in a galaxy far, far away, that we had never heard the name Rupert Grint born August 24, 1988, in Hertfordshire, England. After being chosen to play Ron Weasly alongside Harry Potter, Grint soon became a household name.
Rupert Grint brought the character of Ron Weasley to life with equal parts humor and heart. Playing the loyal, clumsy, and lovelorn best friend of Harry Potter, arguably the most popular fictional character in modern Literature. The English actor soon develops into a well-known actor.
In addition to his work in the Harry Potter films, Grint has also appeared in several other film roles. He starred in the 2002 kid comedy Thunderpants, and appeared in the well-reviewed 2006 coming-of-age tale Driving Lessons, which Grint called "the first grown-up thing I'd ever really done." Grint then struck out into decidedly new territory with the 2009 film Cherrybomb, a less-than-wholesome story in which Grint plays a teenager experimenting with drugs, sex and violence. Recently, he stars as the main role in ‘Into the White’, a 2012 anti-war film.
While Grint is no longer a stranger to onscreen romance, walking red carpet or doing errands, you can expect the child star wearing his uniform, a graphic t-shirt, blazer and dark shades with a startling persona.
Friday Moviez wishes Rupurt Grint a Very Happy Birthday!
