Heather Locklear and Jack Wagner have called off their engagement.
The former Melrose Place co-stars announced in August that they planned to tie the knot.
But the 50-year-old actress's representative confirmed today that the pair have changed their minds about walking down the aisle.
"Jack and Heather are no longer engaged," the publicist told People magazine.
Just after the nuptials announcement over the summer, Heather gushed that the couple had received her 14-year-old daughter's seal of approval.
"Ava was so excited when we told her," Heather said. "She hugged Jack, said congratulations, and she immediately wanted to see the ring. Then she ran and Facebooked her new stepbrother."
The reason behind the split has not yet been revealed but Heather walked the red carpet yesterday for the Breaking Dawn premiere with her engagement ring missing.
The pair met while they were both filming television show Melrose Place in the 1990s. They have been friends for several years, but their relationship became romantic in 2007.
Heather has been married twice before. She had a seven-year relationship with Mtley Cre drummer Tommy Lee from 1986 to 1993. After her divorce from Tommy, Heather married Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora in 1994.
Heather recently filmed Disney movie The Assistants while Jack is a resident actor on American television soap The Bold and the Beautiful.
