(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hilary Swank never takes her fortune for granted, insisting she doesnt know what the future could bring.

The actress had a modest upbringing, spending some of her childhood in a trailer park in the US. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was a teenager and the pair lived out of a car while Hilary tried to make it as an actress. Hilary went on to achieve phenomenal success in Hollywood, appearing in a string of big movies and winning two Oscars. Even though she is now earns millions, she is careful with her money and still collects store discount coupons.

"A dollar stays a dollar and who knows what will happen tomorrow," Hilary explained to German magazine Brigitte.

The 36-year-old star hasnt had an easy path to success and her character was famously written out of American television show Beverly Hills, 90210 after just a few episodes. Despite these setbacks, Hilary remained determined to be an actress and she decided to overcome any obstacles by taking one day at a time.

"Always one day after the other without thinking about what could happen in two weeks," she replied, when asked how she recovered from her difficult start in life. (C) Cover Media
