Mozart of Madras, A. R. Rahman has been conferred with many presitigious awards for his magnificent work in the industry. Adding to his existing list would be one more prestigious award Hridaynath Mangeshkar on October 26, 2015.

Rahman will be awarded with this award on the birthday of renowned singer which falls on October 26th this month.

Previously this award was conferred on some of the eminent personalities of Bollywood such as Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle.

Rahman will receive this award from the showman of Bollywood, Subhash Ghai.
