17th July 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jada Pinkett Smith has been inspired by daughter Willow, 11, to fight human trafficking.

The actress was joined by the young singer and husband Will Smith at Capitol Hill in Washington today where she attended the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing.

They discussed what tools were available to combat the issue over the next 10 years.

Jada revealed that she plans to launch a campaign to raise awareness about human trafficking and slavery in America and abroad.

She said it was her daughter that brought her attention to the issue that "robs us of the thing we value most, our freedom."

The high-profile family wore T-shirt with the words "free slaves" on it.

Willow tweeted a picture of herself after the hearing saying she was "getting radical on human trafficking."

But still daddy's little girl, the pre-teen was seen covered up in Will's plaid sports jacket when she got too cold in the hearing room. (C) Cover Media
