(Cover) - EN Showbiz - January Jones has given birth to her first child.

The 33-year-old Mad Men actress welcomed son Xander Dane Jones on Tuesday, her representatives have confirmed.

Her team also revealed that baby Xander and new mom January are adjusting well.

"Mom and baby are doing great," her rep told Us Weekly.

January announced her pregnancy in April.

She has been excited about embracing motherhood for the first time.

"She's really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom," January's representatives explained at the time of her announcement.

January was not aware of the baby's gender before her son was born. She had an arduous past few months picking names for the newborn.

"I'm having a hard time. I'm looking for boy and girl names obviously, because it's going to be a surprise for me," January said in June. "I love Cary Grant, I like Marilyn Monroe. That seems kind of like a celebrity thing to do, those weird names. I'm not really into that. I don't want to be too clich about it."

January so far has not disclosed the identity of the baby's father. (C) Cover Media
