27th April 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jared Leto says making an album is an involved affair.

The 30 Seconds To Mars frontman has hinted the bands 2009 album This Is War could be their last for a while, because making a record is a time-consuming effort.

The group comprising of Jared, guitarist Tomo Milicevic and Jareds brother, drummer Shannon are currently performing across North America , and will stop off in Europe for a number of festival appearances. Following their tour commitments, Jared is unsure whether his band will make a fourth studio album.

Theres a lot for us to consider. You have to, I guess, number one, want to make a record, and number two, have the time and space to do it properly. Everything is great for the band right now. Were really just in the moment, he told Kerrang magazine. I dont know. Thats definitely being talked about. When I start a new record it ends up being a pretty involved affair; you need the time, energy and space to appropriately address it.

If the band were to embark on producing a fourth record, the 39-year-old hunk wouldnt be short of ideas for new material. Jared who is the main songwriter for 30 Seconds To Mars constantly muses throughout his day-to-day experiences, and counts his recent trip to Haiti as a great source of inspiration. He visited the country to see how the humanitarian efforts are helping those affected by last years earthquake.

Well, Ive had lots [of personal experiences]. Travelling the world, playing these shows, connecting with our extended family of fans, going to Haiti, the trip to the Middle East... its all really inspired me, he added. (C) Cover Media
