(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennie Garth's recent drop in pounds has sparked concern that she is seriously being affected by her break-up with Twilight star Peter Facinelli.

The 40-year-old actress recently showcased a noticeably thinner frame.

And Jackie Leller, CEO of NutriFit, told RadarOnline that it's understandable the mother-of-three's body is going through changes.

"Some women (and men) do lose their appetite under emotional stress," she said. "And the net result can be weight loss, or other poor health habits such as smoking, drinking and inadequate sleep."

"It's natural to go through an adjustment period, and always best if the emphasis is more on positive aspect of life like her beautiful daughters and perhaps other projects that she's involved in."

But Jennie has reassured fans that she is being healthy but that dealing with the end of her 11 year marriage is a process.

"I've been certainly going through a transitional time in my life and I think anybody who has been through something like what I'm going through, and have been going through for the past couple years can definitely relate that your body changes with your emotional state of mind sometimes. I think a lot of women can relate to that," Jennie told ET Canada. (C) Cover Media
