Jennifer Lawrence had a pet goat when she was growing up.

The 21-year-old actress was raised in Kentucky, America, with her two brothers. She knew she wanted to act by the time she was 14 and still finds it strange how much the decision to move to New York City and find an agent changed he life.

"It seems so weird that it happened. I grew up in such a normal family. OK, we weren't that normal I had a goat for a pet but we were semi-normal. And then we moved to New York and it happened piece by piece," she recalled to Look magazine.

Jennifer was nominated for an Oscar for her part in Winter's Bone and has also been praised for her portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. She doesn't let success get to her though, explaining she still has the same dreams she did when she was a little girl.

"Having a family and being a mom," she explained. "I don't lie around thinking about my career aspirations."
