Jennifer Lopez gave a jaw-dropping performance at the American Music Awards (AMAs) last night.

The 42-year-old songstress performed a medley of her hit singles Papi, On the Floor and Until It Beats No More. The stunning star wowed in a barely-there nude and sparkly jumpsuit, before later picking up the gong for Favourite Latin Music Artist.

Jennifer kept pulses racing throughout her sexy show at the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. She provocatively peeled off different layers of her costume throughout her performance.

She arrived on stage in a long leopard flowing gown, where it appeared she couldn't remember her words. However, the stunt was short-lived, and she quickly broke out into her first track and whipped off her modest dress in the process.

At one point, Jennifer jumped into a car and performed a sequence.

She was also seen dancing with her rumoured new man Casper Smart, who performed with his top off.

The dancer took to his Twitter page after the awards event to express his excitement.

"Just killed the show with JLo at the AMAs2011!!!! sic," he Tweeted.

Jennifer was joined on stage by Pitbull. The 42-year-old beauty danced provocatively with the rapper.

The spectacular show was well received and was met with a standing ovation.

Later on at the event, Jennifer accepted her coveted award.

"It's been a really amazing year in so many ways," she said in her acceptance speech.

"It's been up and down and just exciting and overwhelming."

Jennifer's estranged husband Marc Anthony took to the stage minutes after her sultry show.

The singer performed his hit Rain Over Me with Lil Jon and Pitbull.
