(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Lopez is "rising above" her split from Marc Anthony, according to Randy Jackson.

The American songstress is back to work on hit show American Idol alongside Randy and Steven Tyler.

Jennifer and Marc announced their separation on July 15 after seven years together, but according to her fellow judge, the beauty is not letting personal drama get in the way of her TV duties.

"We've been doing auditions and she's rising above," Randy told People at Las Vegas' iHeartRadio Music Festival, where both he and Lopez performed.

"She's strong, she's a trooper, she's a great girl. She's amazing."

Randy says although Jennifer appears to be in good spirits following the break-up, he and the rest of the American Idol cast are always on hand to lend their support.

The 55-year-old says everyone needs help from time to time.

"Whatever help we need to give, we'll give her," he said.

The 42-year-old singer gave a 25-minute performance at the music event. The stunning star delivered an energetic rendition of her hits, and addressed the crowd with a positive message.

"I don't want to see anyone trying to act cool around here," she told the crowd. "I want to see you dancing and jumping and singing and acting like a fool."

In the wake of their shock split, Marc is seemingly struggling to get over his estranged wife.

The former couple reunited at their former marital home in Miami Beach recently over Marc's 43rd birthday weekend. The pair were accompanied by their children, three-year-old twins Max and Emme. (C) Cover Media
