Jeremy Piven: I want to amaze my niece

5th August 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jeremy Piven is basing his entire career on "impressing" his niece.

The 46-year-old Entourage star is dead set on garnering approval for his professional endeavours from Pearl McCay, his six-year-old niece. With his upcoming starring role in director Robert Rodriguez's Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D, Jeremy hopes that this child friendly movie will receive Pearl's lasting blessings.

"All I'm doing right now with my career is trying to impress my niece," Jeremy told E! Online. "I tried buying American Girl dolls. It worked in the moment, but then it wears off."

Pearl has high standards. Although Jeremy is her uncle, she does not consider him a celebrity, therefore he cannot take pictures with her.

"Pearl says she only takes pictures with celebrities," exclaimed Jeremy. "And then she got a picture with Selena Gomez and she told me it was because it was her 'destiny.' That's what she told me - her 'destiny!'"

In terms of Entourage's destiny, Jeremy has divulged little about how the final season will end. He does disclose juicy details about how his character Ari Gold's quandary will transition into the highly anticipated Entourage movie.

"Ari walks away with this conundrum," said Jeremy. "I can't tell you what it is, but I think it's one we've all faced and it's kind of a perfect way to end - or the perfect way to segue into a movie."

Entourage's eighth and final season is now airing in America. (C) Cover Media
