The 37-year-old actor who is currently starring as Pete Kaczmarek in the CBS TV series The Defenders has revealed that he dislikes using public transport in the US city as its so unreliable. He claims most people have cars since driving is the best way to get around LA.

Its pretty non-existent; its a car town you have to have a car. I have taken public transport there and it sort of drops you off a mile or so away from where youre gonna go. So you have to bring a backpack and a tent, he told a UK TV show.

Jerry says that he has also experienced an unsavoury experience while using British transport. The star says he was shocked to discover tickets for the London Underground train network were so expensive, but wasnt given much time to ponder the price as he was rushed along by impatient commuters.

I went on the Tube yesterday, Im visiting and I was at the machine and a queue started to form at the back of me. I was with a co-worker of mine and it said we owed 8 to go two stops and I thought Id made a mistake. So I tried to do it again and people behind me were going Cmon move it, lets go! So then I walked, he confessed. (C) Cover Media
