(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Twilight Saga: Eclipse picked up five gongs at the annual MTV Movie Awards on Sunday.
The highly-successful vampire franchise, based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer, dominated the winners list at the event, picking up awards for Best Movie, Best Kiss, Best Fight and Best Female and Male performance for stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, who couldn't keep their hand off each other on stage, handed the award to British actor Robert for the night's first prize. The star, who has won the award twice previously, beat his Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner to the prestigious title.
"I really didn't think I was going to win. This is kind of embarrassing now. Zac Efron was crying and stuff in that clip... Thanks for showing all your support to the movies. See you next year!" he gushed.
His co-star and girlfriend Kristen Stewart took home the award for Best Female performance, beating Emma Stone, Emma Watson, Jennifer Aniston and Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman.
Tom Felton was named Best Villain award for his performance of Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. The blonde star thanked fans for their continuing support in his acceptance speech.
"This will look very nice in my downstairs toilet," he joked.
Justin Bieber's Never Say Never concert film took the Best Jaw Dropping Moment prize. The Canadian pop star a surprise appearance at the annual awards after rumours surfaced that he wouldn't be in attendance. The 17-year-old credited his award to his family, manager legion of adoring fans.
Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel's showdown with Robert in Eclipse won Best Fight, while the hugely-popular film also picked up the coveted Best Kiss gong for Kristen and Robert's locking lips sequence.
Reese Witherspoon was presented with this year's MTV Generation Award.
