The biker guy John Abraham has always wanted to do an out and out action film that would fully exploit his macho image. Till now he never got a chance to work in a complete action flick but when he was offered Vipul Shah's Force', the star jumped at the offer and ensured no stones were left un-turned into getting under the skin of the character.

"John was very kicked about the film and wanted to learn about how the system functioned before the shooting. He even met an inspector who inspired him and taught him the in and out of how things function. For two months John did nothing but study the system to get under the skin of his character", said a source. 

Essaying the role of NCP Yashvardhan, John spent two months researching on the subject of drug dealing,the locations that these activities take place,and how the system functions  and even personally met the NCP officer who inspired him to play the role to the T.
