(Cover) - EN Star Style - Katherine Heigl has an extra-long shower each week so she can pamper herself.

The Hollywood star is married to musician Josh Kelley, and they adopted a little girl called Naleigh from South Korea last year. Becoming a mother means Katherine has had to streamline her beauty routine, as she doesnt have much time for preening anymore. She still allows herself one treat weekly though, and recommends all mothers follow in her footsteps.

"Once a week I pamper myself completely during an extra-long shower. When youre shrouded by hot steam all your pores open up anyway, but I give myself a face mask too, and I exfoliate from head to toe and condition my hair, she explained. The timing works out perfectly so you can do it all in one go. Afterwards I always feel fresher and more beautiful than ever!"

The actress added she doesnt see herself as a style icon, even though she is regularly referred to as such. She still worries she hasnt picked the best outfit or will be pictured in an unflattering ensemble, and thinks she will always be that way.

I am totally haphazard when it comes to the fashion field, she told the German edition of OK! magazine. Before I walk the red carpet I still panic because I don't know what to wear. When I'm in private I prefer comfortable cloths and slip into stretch trousers rather than designer jeans. (C) Cover Media
