Director of 'Angry Indian Goddesses' Pan Nalin says "Katrina is a hugely successful star in India and when we wrote the movie one particular character seemed to be perfect inspiration from her life. Even though we haven't shown the whole journey of Katrina we surely were inspired to have Amrit play the role of a London migrated girl to India."

The upcoming film, Angry Indian Goddesses has taken a leaf out of Katrina Kaif's life. Amongst them one of the girl is a girl from UK, who is trying to make her way in the industry. The film mildly traces Katrina's journey and her struggles while narrating her story.
