(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Osbourne says she finally feels happy and grown up.

The 25-year-old - who spent her teenage years starring in a reality TV show about her family, The Osbournes - says that since appearing on Dancing with the Stars in America last year, her life has changed. The diminutive star lost a lot of weight while she was competing on the television show and is now a US size zero.

That show forced me to get up every day and have a routine, and as a result I lost weight, she told Grazia magazine.

Dancing with the Stars made me realise that with a bit of dedication, I could do anything. And Ive kept it up. I work out at the gym, I do Pilates, and I eat sensibly. Im not someone who stops themselves eating everything. If I want some cake Ill just have a slice not the whole thing.

Its taken me 18 months, and I feel really happy with myself.

But Kelly insists that curvy women such as actress Christina Hendricks are hugely important role models in society. She is proud of her body and feels the personal struggles she has faced in her life have helped her mature emotionally.

It is about feeling happy in your own skin. When I came out of rehab in January 2009, I was determined to stay off the drink and drugs and get healthy, Kelly explained. Now Im happy with my lifestyle and how I look. Its taken people a long time to realise that Im not actually the teenage brat from The Osbournes anymore.

Ive grown out of that, and it feels great. (C) Cover Media
