(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kendall Jenner is part of one of the most famous families on television but she seems to have a more level head on her shoulders than her mother.

The younger sister of Kim Kardashian was filmed for her milestone birthday party in the special, Kendall's Sweet 16.

In the show which aired last night, the fledgling model snapped at her mother Kris Jenner when the family matriarch tried to move her party to the Bahamas in a very extravagant move.

But Kendall appears to be the most down to earth of the clan and put her foot down with her overly ambitious mother-manager.

"You're trying to make this bigger and bigger and it's embarrassing me," Kendall moaned.

"You're just giving me this [over-the-top party], you're just handing me this and I don't want it!"

Kris eventually backed down and let the teen have her bash at a West Hollywood hotel instead.

However, Kendall was given a luxury Range Rover from her mother and father Bruce Jenner at a reported cost of $100,000.

And in a move unlikely to come from many other teenagers, Kendall asked for her guests to donate toys to sick children at a local hospital in lieu of giving her gifts.

"For my mom to be like, Oh we're going to have this huge, extravagant party,' and to think those kids can't even go to a party because they're sitting in a hospital bed, it's just really sad," she explained. (C) Cover Media
