(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga has treated her chauffeur to a year's supply of diapers after learning he is about to become a first-time father.

The eccentric songstress has also asked her interior design team to transform the driver's spare room into a nursery for his arrival.

A source said the gift to her long-time chauffeur is a reflection of Gaga's big-hearted nature.

"Gaga is very generous with her presents and makes a huge effort for those who look after her," the insider told British newspaper The Sun.

"As soon as she found out her UK driver was going to be a dad, she was on the phone trying to sort out a gift. It had to be something quirky, too it's part of her nature."

Gaga has used the same driver in England for many years. He has been looking after the superstar in the UK since she started performing in the country.

Meanwhile, Gaga has been named Entertainer of the Year by members of The Associated Press.

The star was thrilled with the recognition.
