(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lily Allen is surprised by Kate Moss decision to set a wedding date within weeks of her own nuptials, it has been reported.

After reports that Kate is to marry her rocker fianc in July, sources say that Lily, 25, is also keen to throw a high-profile wedding bash.

Lily who suffered a devastating miscarriage when she was six months pregnant last year got engaged to Sam Cooper, 32, over Christmas. Now the singer is desperate to have the perfect day, despite the threat of Kates wedding overshadowing her own. The brunette star is being secretive over the date, which is reported to be June 11.

Lilys waited so long for this day, and now she and Kate are both going for a Cotswold wedding, a source told Closer magazine.

Sources have also revealed that the competition is ever-more fierce as the pair have recently cooled off their relationship. Lily has kept out of the spotlight for several months and they havent seen much of each other.

They havent been close for a while as Lilys been off the showbiz circuit lately, so it was embarrassing when they bumped into each other in London last week, the source said. Both congratulated the other and tried to make a joke of how funny it is that their weddings are the same time, same place, the source added. (C) Cover Media
