(Cover) - EN Star Style - Linda Evangelista has split from her fianc Peter Morton, according to reports.

The beautiful supermodel, 45, began dating Hard Rock founder Peter, 64, in late 2006 when she was pregnant with Augustin James, her son from a previous relationship, now aged four.

It is now thought Linda and billionaire Peter ended their relationship at the end of the summer after a string of disputes, a source told Page Six. An insider explained that Canadian Linda enjoyed spending time in her native country or fashion capital New York when she was in America, which caused friction with Peter, who loves Los Angeles.

"Peter is very settled in Malibu and loves LA, while Linda liked to spend time in Canada and with her friends in New York, the source added.

It has never been revealed who Augustin Jamess father is, and Linda has previously denied claims it is French business tycoon Francois-Henri Pinault, who is now married to actress Salma Hayek.

Despite speculation being rife over her private life, Lindas professional life is going from strength to strength. She continues to work as a face of cosmetics brand L'Oreal and she is also fronting a Fall campaign for womens retailer Talbots.

Regarding the split and baby rumours, Lindas agent has declined to comment, saying "Linda has no press agent". Staff at Peters office said "no comment". (C) Cover Media
