Bollywood's rising star Lisa Haydon stunned critics and impressed her fans with a scintillating performance in her last film 'Queen'. 

Despite of the brief length of her role, Lisa managed to grab everyone's attention and garnered accolades from all ends. The model turned actress has now benefitted from all the hard work put in. 

While it was just a rumour till date, it has been now confirmed that the actress has bagged the leading role in 'Shaukeen'. 

Till recently, it was said that after Nargis Fakhri's dramatic exit from the film, Lisa was one of the top contenders to replace her. But now a national daily has confirmed that she has indeed been cast opposite Akshay Kumar in the aforementioned film. 

Lisa plays a modern day sexy woman who is Akshay's onscreen girlfriend and is wooed by three elderly men played by Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher and Piyush Mishra. The shooting of the film is slated to begin on April 16.

It seems that not only Kangana Ranaut, but Lisa too has benefitted a lot from 'Queen'.
