Suriya's much awaited film, 'Maatraan', directed by A.R. Murugadoss has been cleared with a clean 'U' certificate by the Censor Board on Wednesday.

In other words, the film can be watched by audiences of all age groups and there will be no restrictions. The 'U' certification has made those behind the project very happy.

Produced by AGS Entertainment on a whopping budget, the film will be released by Eros. Harris Jayaraj is the music composer, while Kajal Agarwal is the leading lady.

Suriya has played conjoined twins in this action thriller. The film was shot in Russia and near the India-Pakistan border.
