As soon as the promos of R Madhavan and Bipasha Basu starrer "Jodi Breakers" released within no time the film was slammed with a series of allegations. It was reported that the film was a rip off of a French film "Heartbreakers" and even an aspiring Indian filmmaker had accused them for copying her idea. Nevertheless film’s lead star Madhavan isn’t baffled with the accusations and has given a befitting answer to the trouble makers.
“Let them read our script and point out even one similarity. I challenge them to prove we've copied even a frame,” declared Madhavan. The makers of his film have offered the team of French film "Heartbreaker's team to read the entire script. Nonetheless on a condition that is, they have asked them to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement so that none of the details of their film releases before the desired time. But the team isn’t ready to do the needful. They have refused to sign the contract and this has again irked Madhavan.
“We've repeatedly asked them to sign an NDA and read our script. Why aren't they accepting our invitation? If they find even a page similar, we'll do whatever is required. The fact of the matter is there're no similarities between our film and theirs except the similar-sounding title. Maybe they know it too. Why is it that every time a film's promos start, we have such allegations popping up?” said Madhavan.
