The actress who ruled the Bollywood film industry in the 80s and 90s, Manisha Koirala is reportedly diagnosed with cancer. She is currently admitted in Jaslok hospital in Mumbai where she will undergo treatment.

Apparently, the actress was in Nepal since the start of November as she was doing up her new home. A few days back, Manisha wrote on her microblogging page that she suffered from food poisoning, but she was ok. Suddenly, post the sickness, she fell unconscious and that is when her parents realized something was wrong.

She was immediately flown to Mumbai for further tests, after which she was diagnosed with cancer. At the moment, her parents and her brother are at her bedside.

A close friend says that the actress has taken the news bravely and she is positive to fight the disease.

We hope and pray that Manisha recovers soon.
