Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala was recently diagnosed with cancer (read news) after which she was admitted to Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai for further treatment. But she has now been discharged from there and reportedly shall be taken to the U.S. for advance treatment.

"We are planning to go to the United States. We haven't decided on the hospital yet. The family is still trying to figure things out," said Mandira Koirala, Manisha's sister-in-law.

Though she has been diagnosed with cancer, the actual state of her illness is being strictly kept under wraps.

Before being diagnosed with the illness she attended the premiere of the Hollywood film 'Life of Pi'.
