Marathi flavour remains in the Hindi version of Zingaat

27th June 2018

The makers of 'Dhadak' are out with the second song of the film which is already famous thanks to the Marathi blockbuster 'Sairat'. It is the Hindi version of 'Zingaat' a song that went out to be a popular Marathi chartbuster of the year, being played on every occasion to ensure the desi party atmosphere. This Hindi version is composed and performed by Ajay-Atul, the duo also sung the Marathi number as well.

The song has some Marwari lines but the Rowdy composition gives this number a Marathi flavour without a doubt. The song features Ishaan entering a grand party of Janhvi's on-screen father Ashutosh Rana and they dance in their ethnic Rajasthani outfit and dance their heart out with those mini dab steps in between. Lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya has made it sound a bit different rest all seems like a photocopy of the Marathi version. Click here to watch 'Zingaat' music video.

Speaking about the criticism on Janhvi as an example of Nepotism she stated, "Of course it affects me. But up until this point, it was like, if they're going to criticise me for how I look while coming out of the gym, I don't really care. But all of a sudden, now I'm a little more nervous because I am supposed to be good at this, right? This is what I've wanted to do. I want people to love me. The only thing that you can do is work hard and give it your all and hope that that's enough."

Bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Dhadak is slated to hit the silver screen on July 20.
