(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mark Wahlberg installed a boxing ring in his home to train for his new movie, according to 50 Cent.

Mark portrays famed boxer Mickey Irish Ward in The Fighter, and was keen to look the part. He packed on muscle so he would be believable in the role, and rapper 50 has claimed he even arranged to have his own ring at home so he could practice ahead of shooting.

The rapper was vocal on the social networking site over the weekend, speaking to fans about a range of topics. He revealed he is working on new material at the moment, and is very proud of it.

50 thinks the tracks he has laid down are some of the best he has ever worked on, and expects them to go down a storm.

I love music I'm making the best album I wrote so far and I know people are gonna hate but its cool I love my music, he wrote. I just finished a big hit record tonight swiss produced the track. I went crazy on it (sic).

The 35-year-old then began discussing his musical influences, revealing the surprising fact that he is a fan of Justin Bieber. After some people began to think he might be making fun of the 16-year-old singer, 50 decided to set the record straight.
