Megan Fox disputes ever saying that she wouldn't trade places "with an unattractive girl."

The stunning 25-year-old Hollywood actress is the cover girl on French magazine Jalouse's April issue.

Megan has been quoted as saying that she "lives[s] well with my image. I cannot complain. I would not trade my place with an unattractive girl."

The star contends that those words are a product of mistranslation.

"The actual comment, the context and it's intention are grossly distorted and misrepresented here. (sic)" she posted on her Facebook page Friday. "I gave this interview in English obviously, it was then translated to French and now back into English."

Megan doesn't believe she is vain enough to ever make statements of that nature.

"I've never made vapid self serving comments and in contradiction am uncontrollably self deprecating (sic)" she wrote.

Megan recently revealed to MIAMI magazine that she rarely felt gorgeous growing up.

"I was never the pretty girl," she shared.

Megan and her husband former Beverly Hills 90210 actor Brian Austin Green wed at a private ceremony in Hawaii in 2010.

They have been together for nearly eight years.
