(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mel Gibson's divorce from estranged wife Robyn Gibson may be official by the end of the day.

Robyn filed for divorce from the Braveheart actor in 2009 following news that Mel got Oksana Grigorieva pregnant.

RadarOnline reports that the pair argued about financial arrangements for over a year, but have finally come to accord on the matter.

Mel and Robyn's lawyers met in a Los Angeles Superior courtroom Friday morning, where they presented to the judge a divorce settlement that both parties mutually agreed upon.

The judge presiding over the case must sign the document before their divorce will be declared official.

Robyn and Mel were married for 28 years.

The couple separated in 2006 after Mel's infamous Driving Under the Influence (DUI) arrest in which he went on an anti-Semitic and racist rant to police officers.

No prenuptial agreement was signed.

Reports claim that Mel's net worth is approximately $900 million.
