Melissa McCarthy has candidly spoken about her weight battle.
The Bridesmaids star opened up to Anderson Cooper on his daytime talk show that will air today about her curvy figure.
With her hit movie and starring role on sitcom Mike & Molly, the actress says she is happy with her accomplishments but still struggles with her size.
"I've been up and down," the 41-year-old said. "I've been much thinner since my second baby. I'm still working on it. It's a work in progress."
Melissa is juggling her busy career with being a mother to Vivian, four, and Georgette, one.
She added that she would love to be smaller but acknowledges that it is a tough journey.
"I hope I wake up at like 94 pounds," she quipped. "But I don't think that's going to happen."
The Emmy winner says that her primary focus is on her family and not conforming to what size the entertainment industry thinks she should be.
"There's so many other things to worry about," Melissa shared. "I still worry about it, but I think, my kids are healthy, I've got a great husband, and I go to work every day and do what I want."
"I'll keep working on [my body]. I just can't put any time to worrying about it."
Melissa recently announced that she was creating her first fashion line for plus-sized women in a hope to make people "feel good about themselves."
"I haven't thought about anyone else but me! It's just a lame way to get me clothes I want," she laughed.
"Trying to find stuff that's still fashion-forward in my size is damn near impossible. It's either for like a 98-year-old woman or a 14-year-old hooker, and there is nothing in the middle."
