(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mila Kunis has delighted the parents of her Marine date, with the pair expressing their happiness.
Diane and Russell Moore appeared on US breakfast show Good Morning America to talk about the exciting turn of events after their son, Sgt. Scott Moore, posted a video online to attract Mila's attention.
The 27-year-old actress admitted that her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake persuaded her to accept the offer of a date from the Marine who uploaded his request on YouTube.
He had posted a 19-second video from his post in Afghanistan where he asked the Black Swan star to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina this November, to which she has agreed.
Now his parents have spoken out at their happiness that their son is going on a date with a Hollywood actress.
"I'm glad that he has a moment to be able to take time and do something fun," Russell said, adding that he was very proud of his son and what he stands for.
Diane revealed that their phone "has not stopped ringing, and from the talks of things, he's the talk of the town".
They both thanked Mila and Justin for "supporting the troops in this way", insisting that "it means a lot".
Justin had told Mila that she had to go on the date for the sake of her country when viewing the video of the Marine's request. After some hesitation the actress decided she would be willing. (C) Cover Media
