Nikki Reed: No drama on Twilight shoot

7th June 2011

(Cover) - EN Movies - Nikki Reed has revealed the last day of filming the final Twilight instalment wasn't "super dramatic".

The actress admitted the cast of the hugely successful vampire saga didn't get too emotional when the final scenes were shot.

The 23-year-old star explained wrapping production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 didn't feel like the end of the franchise because there are plenty of promotional duties left to fulfil.

"It was surprising, actually, how little we had to say when we finished, to be honest," Reed told MTV accompanied by her co-stars Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli. "We know we're going to see each other, so it wasn't super dramatic."

The trio attended the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, where The Twilight Saga: Eclipse won in the Best Movie category.

Chatting on the red carpet, the stars seemed upbeat and positive about ending the years-long franchise.

"We have two more movies coming out, so it wasn't so much of a goodbye as it was a 'see ya later,'" Peter added.

When asked whether there had been a speech at the end of the last day of filming, the stars admitted that no one had made a special effort.

Kellan, who plays Emmett Cullen, made up an impromptu farewell speech that may not have been suitable for the ears of younger Twilight fans.

"I worked the very last day, and I hate you motherf***ers. That's my speech," he joked. (C) Cover Media
