At several occasions, Shah Rukh Khan’s ambitious project ‘Ra.One’ has been compared to Rajinikanth’s ‘Robot’, citing their common genre of being sci-fi films. Even though Shahrukh has shunned the comparisons long back, this time around King Khan has gone a step ahead to give clarification.
Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that his film is nowhere close to Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer ‘Robot’. Instead, he has claimed that his superhero flick ‘Ra.One’ is a story with a twist and is more or less on the lines of superhero Hollywood blockbuster movies like ‘Terminator 2’, ‘Hulk’ and ‘Spiderman’.
The film ‘Ra.One’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in lead is all set for its mega release on 26th October, 2011. It has Shah Rukh Khan donning a superhero’s avatar 'G.1' for the very first time in his career whereas Arjun Rampal will be the antagonist ‘Ra.One’, interestingly after whom the film is named.
