(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Reese Witherspoon spent some quality time with her father John Witherspoon this weekend following recent bigamy allegations against him.

The actress is pregnant with her first child with husband Jim Toth and took her two older kids; Ava, 12, and Deacon, eight, for a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains.

Reese recently returned back from a trip to Nashville, Tennessee to attend a hearing with her 70-year-old dad.

Her mother Betty claimed that she was still legally married to John despite his January wedding to Patricia "Tricianne" Taylor.

Betty, 63, claims that John is suffering from early onset dementia and is trying to get a conservatorship over him despite them separating in 1996.

"Reese is devastated," a source told Us Weekly. "She wants her mom protected and her dad to get help."

Betty is seeking to have John's marriage annulled and insists she still loves her estranged husband.

"[Reese is] doing okay," an insider told People. "It's just not something that's easy to deal with whatever way you look at it. She wants her parents to be happy, and of course she's going to care for them she always has but it's a stressful situation." (C) Cover Media
